Hi Terry. Thanks for your message. I didn’t want to go into too much detail on this one. The title refers to the theory that the auditory faculty is the last of the senses to go as we die.
Thankyou for your reply Jay Dea. Completely understand . The ironic part of your reply is your reference to ‘crossing over’ . You see I have only a few weeks ago been diagnosed (and operated on) for a particularly aggressive form of brain tumour known as a Glioblastoma Multiforme 4. The prognosis for this type of brain tumour is not ‘wonderful; to say the least but I’m’ a very positive person , well ,I am now anyway so that is what will get me through !!
Love the recordings /soundscapes, there is nothing else as diverse or indeed even like what you do. I particularly like how you think outside the norm (what’s that ?). Some of the sound sources you sample from are deliciously – ‘out there’.
Thanks for the generosity of your feedback Terry, I very much appreciate it. I wish you all the best in living with the tumour and I hope you have equally as positive people around you, should you need it.
Wow – how fantastic.

Not sure what to make of this one -‘ haunting’ comes to mind. Could you elaborate on its origin and title please?
